**The media below contains the opinion of an individual student and therefore does not represent or speak to the values of Vestavia Hills High School and Vestavia Hills City Schools**
They may be one of the most overlooked parts of the school, but bathrooms are necessary. If you think hard enough, you might even have some core memories tied to the school bathrooms. Were you so nervous that you needed to go pee in the middle of an exam? Did you brave a bad breakup or perfect your Homecoming makeup in front of the mirrors? Maybe you will even crack open your dream acceptance letter in front of a humble sink!
Unfortunately, not all bathrooms are created equal. Every bathroom looks different and reflects a slice of Vestavia’s history of renovations and expansion. Here’s what VHHS students recommend:
S Tier | Back of A hall, near science classes (both floors):
Back of the library:
|
A Tier | Back of H hall in English wing:
|
B Tier | E hall, near history classes:
|
C Tier | End of A hall, next to Mrs. Gifford’s room, 2nd floor:
A hall, close to Mrs. Sutherland’s room, 1st floor:
|
D Tier | A hall, close to Mr. Taylor’s room and a stairwell, 2nd floor:
Next to lunchroom/auditorium, 1st floor
|
F Tier | D hall (both floors)
A hall, near Mr. Conoly’s room, 1st floor
|
You can do your part to respect the bathrooms. Practice proper hygiene, clean up after yourself, and report accidents to authorities.
Special thanks to our hard-working custodians for keeping our school and the bathrooms safe and clean!
