The senior class of 2023 shares a few pieces of age-old wisdom for a rewarding high school experience as they finish their last year of high school.


Kate Leyden – “There are so many random things that you don’t think about here at the high school that are great organizations to be involved in”

Abby Precise – “Don’t be scared of the upperclassmen”

Sarah Dewees – “Always try something new even if it seems scary!”

Mia Garrison – “Take dual enrollment English junior year”

Sophia Morris – “Go to the library at least once”

Jaxon Dunlevy – “Don't be scared to take hard classes because I regret not taking some classes that would have helped me out in the long run”

Catherine Carver – “Join VNN!”

Ben Sawyer “Take it easy at first it [senior year] comes at you pretty fast”

Chap Horsley “Don’t destroy the [boys’] bathrooms”

Laura Matthews – “Everybody is worth knowing so reach out and meet as many people you can because you have a short time with them”

Rebecca Adams – “Eat the school lunch and do not date upperclassmen”

Dakota McGrew – “The Arts department at our school is so insanely fun and it is such a big community so join if you want to be a part of something great with a ton of friends where you always feel welcome”
