Every year, members of the Vestavia Hills High School Choir Program take a fall trip full of fun, and of course, singing! This year, the choir decided to head back to The Peanut Festival and perform at the Dothan Festival of Choirs.
On November 6, the choir departed from the high school and embarked on the four hour journey to Dothan. Later that night, the choir was having fun at the Nut Fest! Games, rides, facepaint, corn dogs, peanuts, and more make for an excellent night of friendship and bonding!
Early November 7, choir members were getting ready to perform at the Dothan Opera House. All of the Vestavia Choirs performed two of the pieces they prepared for the previous concert on November 1. Each and every choir has grown so much since the beginning of the school year and all of them did awesome at the Dothan Festival of Choirs!
After their performances, the choir headed back home. The bus was full of happy students chatting with their friends about the fun trip! The next day, the choir got to continue a long standing tradition. Every time they go to a fair or carnival, someone in the choir wins a prize for the whole choir to sign! This year’s prize is a giant inflatable alien! This tradition is an awesome way to remember the fun times the choir had at The Peanut Festival!
