ABOUT

The Vestavia Pillar is a student-run news outlet that embraces a focus on student happenings, accomplishments, and voice. Pillar's mission is to uplift and recognize students and groups that make an impact on life at Vestavia Hills High School, inform others of important events, and share thoughts and ideas held by members of the student body.

Founded in the 2022-2023 school year, Pillar is encompassed of 34 student writers, a 5 member editorial team, and a staff sponsor. Students are required to publish one article a month, and are assigned to one of two drop days, occuring every other Monday.
